Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to class!
When class begins you should be ready to train with your clean uniform worn properly. If you have any questions about any aspect of training, arriving early will allow you time to talk with the instructors and work on your techniques.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM
- Junior/Family class runs from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM
- Adult class runs from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM

During class you will learn the basics of PaSaRyu which include proper stances, kicking and blocking techniques and striking. Kata's (karate forms) put the basics that you learn to use, pairing stances with blocks or strikes to help condition the mind and body. By practicing these techniques, they become ingrained and automatic.
Practicing your stances will help develop balance, all black belts started as white belts and had to learn how to properly execute the techniques they demostrate. With continued practice you will develop excellent balance, being able to block or strike while standing on one leg in the Crane Stance. You will be able to move to evade or attack your opponent, quickly and effectively!
With your new sense of balance, your self-confidence and self-discipline has started to increase! As your learn your belt requirements, you gain confidence knowing you are able to move and strike. You are able to defend yourself, should the need arise. Self-discipline kicks in, being motivated to practice your techniques - and practice them regularly and properly - you begin to advance faster. In class you learn how to perform the technique, at home you continuously train that technique to master it. Training at home is an absolute must, the 1 or 2 hours a week you spend in the dojo are to perfect your technique, learn all the nuances about it, then bring that technique home and practice it until it flows from you without having to think about "what's next?".
Practicing martial arts provides releif from everyday stress. Focusing on doing something new and challenging, and exerting the physical effort needed to accomplish that, helps clear your mind. By focusing your mental and phyical energy on completing the demostrated techniques, you will help de-stress the tension in your mind and body.
